Hello

I am new to hobby. Would you please tell me what is the problem with my tang. Which disease and how to cure? This fish is around 3 weeks in my aquarium. And he is getting worser since several days. There are whitish spots on the body. And he is breathing quickly. His back fin is also corrupted. I also see black area around is mouth. The brisstletooths do not look OK. I have some other fish in my aquarium.

The biggest problem I can see with the fish is that it is in a net, out of the water. The white spots can simply be a sign of stress. I have seen several fish have these come and go from stresses ranging from feeding to water changes. Do you have other agressive fishes in the tank? My first thought would be that it is fighting for territory.

Have you tested your water? If so post your readings, this could be stress related because of your water quality.
