Goldflake w/ finrot in reef aquarium

Hi, I just purchased a goldflake a week ago and I notice he had a torn fin. It does not appear to be healing. He eats everything from pellets to angel formula. He resides in my reef aquarium with a sixline wrasse and a lawnmower blennie. M question is what would be the best way to treat? Should i feed some antibiotic foods to him or remove from reef and use external antibiotics. I'ld hate to stress him by removing and placing in a small 10 gallon QT tank. Could end up worse then just finrot then. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

If he's eating well and doesn't appear to be stressed, I'd leave him alone for a while and see if he heals up on his own.

I'll move this to the main discussion forum so you can get some other opinions...
