Jaubert back ground

I have a Jaubert tank since 4 years and I'm looking for aquarists which have opted for this method with their tank.

So, we may discuss about it.

I've had a Jaubert tank years ago. I had it for about 2 years. When I took down the tank and restarted another, I decided to go another route because it was more work for no real benefit that I could figure out. Rob Toonen confirmed the same thing in an article (I forget where it was published).

The problem with what this method was based upon - The Nice Aquarium in France - is that their tank is very very unlike our captive aquariums. Theirs was a semi-open tank that received new saltwater regularly. So saying it worked for them doesn't really translate over to it working for closed systems.
