Ok Im going to ask this and Im going to ask it once....lol no wars. WHat Kelvin temp Mhalide bulbs with out use of actinics will produce the most growth for sps corals whilst maintaining a beautiful show tank color. Basically whats awesome.

Thats all subjective. It depends on the color you like to look at.

Radium were supposed to be the bestest, but I didn't like the color so I switched back to 20k xm. :D

What wattage are you talking? What size is your tank? If it is a 400W I think 20k would be fine for both crazy coloration and growth. They put out a lot of light even at the higher Kelvin range. Lower wattage I personally wouldn't use 20k, probably a 14k bulb. My 150W 14k is definitely dimmer than the 10k I used to have. I'm debating about going to a 250W and a 20k to recapture some of the brightness I lost.

Like Thales said though, the coloration aspect is totally subjective.
