Well, my best guess is that this little critter is a baby long tentacle anemone(Macrodactyla doreensis) but... I really don't know. What do you think?

I do have a couple pesky aptaisa around so yesterday when I first noticed it below the edge of my anemone I thought it was a baby aptaisia but today it's color and shape look very similar to the big anemone.

Thanks
Mike

It sure doesnt look like an aptasia to me either. I'd let it grow and see what comes of it. The worse case scenario is that you nuke later instead of now.

Yep, that's the plan. Let it grow, let grow, let it grow.

Anyone else have insight regarding this? This little guy just appeared on the glass under the edge of my anemone one day. Is that one way it happens? I've read about splitting but haven't read much about little baby anemones crawling around.
