I believe most of them are, at least the older ones.

Yeah, I believe all AGA tank bottoms are tempered. Oceanic tank bottoms used to not be tempered but new ones are too.

B, gave up on glass cages?

Not that I know. Unless you can score one of their reef ready tanks. By the way, they have other tanks besides AGA tanks which probably can't be drilled anywhere so watch out.
