seems DIY food is the rage again, with those Pappone/Blu Coral tanks showing up

I used to make my own, with what I think was dana riddles recipe, it was almost the same as the blu coral one, the main difference was added oils, vits, and an emulsifier to gel up the oils, where the blu coral adds sugar

anyone care to share what they make?

I'm thinking a cross between the two, couple shrimp/clam/oysters/muscle, little bit of fish oil, emulsifier, sugar, some nori

is there any alternative to HGH that we can get in the states easily ?

Heres a real informative read. The first page says it all. http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/sho ... hp?t=23289
Here is another one with a possible steroid you can pick up off the shelf.

I had someone give me the pappone and I found it to be a PITA.
I mix my own food with clams, prawns, mysis, rotifiers, baby brine and cyclopeze. I feed one cube daily. IMO I get great growth without risking algea outbreaks and blowing the top off of my skimmer daily. Page six of my build thread has a great one year before and after shot to prove it. Everything in my tank was bought as a frag.
