can someone list the pros and cons of running a calcium reactor or kalkreator. im limited to zoanthids and a few other types anenomes. which would be best for me?
with a low calcium load there's little to no reason to go for a calcium reactor
kalk/neilson reactors very simple, and much cheaper, it will help keep ph up, and you'll end up with an automated top off system (be sure to put in 2 valves for saftey shut off)
when you decide to go sps then you may want to look at a calcium reactor
I agree that neither is needed. If anything a minimum dose of two part supplement such as C-balance would make up for any calcium precipitation and loss of trace elements.
