i use aquarium pharm, and some of the kits are accurate, but not the phosphate. mine always reads zero. NO phosphates in my tap water. :?
meanwhile my algae flourish.
try salifert.
I have been a Salifert user for years, and I am trying some of RedSeas tests as my Saliferts run out. I might decide I like them better. They have these waterproof instruction cards, they are simple and the caps fit the test vials tightly with no drips on my fingers when I shake. So far, I like the ones I've tried better or at least the same....
I would really look into a digital phosphate test, most saltwater phosphate tests don't seem to be accurate enough to really get a good idea of how high (or low) your phosphates really are.
Thanks guys, I figured something was wrong with the test kit.
I used to the kit made by the company that makes Instant Ocean....I think "FasTest". They were good for me in the past guess I'll have to search around and go back to them.
