Return tube diameter

I am trying to build the return pipe for my 50G tank.
The flow in pipe is 1.25'' in diameter. Sump is 15G. I am going to use a mag7 as the return pump and return height is 4'. I am going to split the main return pipe into 2 separate smaller pipes and use those to create water movement in the display tank. What should be the size of the main return pipe? What should be the size of the splited ones?

on my 20 I have a mag 7* going to a sqwd then to the tank. All on 3/4" tubing.

You could use 3/4" and 1/2" after your Tee.
