Well, I finally decided to work on getting my tank back to presentable condition. I changed carbon, cleaned the skimmer, and added Rowaphos for the first time. The water looks more polished today (from the carbon, I presume), and the dinos that were covering previously dead SPS are going away (I think this is the Rowaphos in effect). PO4 has dropped faster then I expected. I hope my dying SPS bounce back to life.

When you polish your water, do you have to use a different grit on the hydrogen atoms than you do on the oxygen atoms?
