I found someone with a used Remora Pro, but it has no pump. I was wondering if I could use one my extra Maxijet pumps for it instead of investing in a new Mag3. Is there any requirement for the pumps that you attach to this thing? Thanks.

The AquaC skimmers use a spray nozzle that sprays down into its chamber and pulls the air into the mix this way. I believe either the Mag3 or a mxijet 1200 works. My sons remora has a maxijet 1200 on it.

Right but is there a required amount of water flow you need in order for the spray nozzle to work? I've seen MJ1200s on the regular Remora, just curious if the Pro is again, different. :)

MJ1200 maybe a bit weak for the Pro, IMO, but you just have to live with sub-optimized performance from your skimmer, that's all. You may just look at the specs for the Mag3, and see if you can find something with comparable flow rate at the same head pressure.

Eh guess I will just keep my eye out for a normal Remora. I don't feel like dumping another $70 into the thing.
