She headed into Orlando to check on the house that is for sale and bring home a few more plants. She hits a couple of stores in Orlando, detours to Gainsville and buys a complete 230 gallon tank with all the equipment, refugium, live rock, and fish. I am leaving it to her to figure out how to get it all here. It is a nice tank though. It should look good in the dining room!

Oh no I am not. My back can't handle this one. We are going to wait until November to take delivery of it. She is going to rent a uhaul and hire a few reefers in the area to load it up. We will hire a few more reefers on this end to help us unload it and set is back up. I will be staying home getting water ready I figure with a 230 gallon tank, 75 gallon sump, and a mangrove refugium I should be able to have enough saltwater mixed in 3 or so days.

Wait a second. Gainsville is 3 hours away from Orlando.

How'd she get that far side-tracked?

I think she had it planned out all along. She had mentioned this tank in the past. Every other time I have gone with her to look into a large picture we have driven a long distance only to have her look at it and act like she isn't interested in it while asking questions for two hours. SHe then decides she is not ready to buy it and I have wasted a day. That is why I didn't go with her this time. Apparently she is feeling a little more free with the checkbook.

I just asked her to make sure that any tank she bough had plenty of room under the stand for doing mainenance since that is my job. From the few pictures I have seen it looks like she did OK.

You don't want to see my A cups.

I have a nice plan to get topside rolling :) Post your reef stuff here and let me know so I can move it topside (with shadow here). It's the best of both worlds!

I will start a thread topside once I get some pictures. This thread is more about me being surprised about the detour and shopping spree. My wife has the pictures so I will post a topside thread when she sends them to me.
