Should be fine, Wes. I have a 3 gallon at work with an 18w light. Zoas and star polys are all open... still kind of a new tank, so I'll see how it goes.

I know it's enough light for them.

I'm just saying that this WPG thing is misleading, to a lot of folks who are new in the hobby. 6.5WPG of PC won't give you the same amount of intensity as 6.5WPG of MH would or even 6.5WPG of T-5 would. It's just not a great measure in any sense. Just don't want anyone gettin misled, that simple.
