i bought a new skunk stripe shrimp 4 or 5 days ago and now he is dead!! he seemed fine the first few days but the n yesterday i saw he had this white stuff collected on his antenna, then he hid in a rock, today i found him dead, what happend to him, does anybody know ?
Was the body you found fully intact, or just the shell? Shrimps molt all the time, and it's very common for them to molt right after introduction into a new tank. They hide for a while after the molt because their new exoskeleton isn't hard yet. Hopefully this is what happened to your shrimp.
If it is dead, it's very hard to determine what caused its death. Could be anything from physical parameters (temp) to chemical problems to predation.
