so.
really.
i can't find it.
neither can ferian.
we looked.
i mean we reaaaaly looked.
it was there last night.
the clowns are hanging out where it was last night.
i know i put the rocks under the "upper structure" in such a way that i can see just about every inch of the tank from 360deg.

if the anemone dies in the tank, and i can not pull it out - toxic? or is it just like everything else and become food?

They aren't toxic, but they do have a lot of nutrients and you'll see a nutrient spike. If it wandered off into the rockwork, it may come out again on its own. But they have been known to just commit suicide in this fashion, dying very slowing as they starve (shriveling down to near nothing). This actually is easier on your system since it doesn't dump a whole bunch of nutrients back into the tank. Still, sorry to hear about it going missing :(

See if your clowns go anywhere that they don't usually go to. Odds are that they know where the anemone is and that they're still trying to do their thing with it.
