Tuxedo Urchin Spawning????

Hey Guys,

I just saw something weird with my tuxedo urchin. I noticed a bunch of little white pebbles coming out of the center of him as he was sitting on a rock. At first I thought it was just pebbles falling off the rock as he was moving, but then I noticed it was coming out of the center of him. There is a little hole on in the center of him on the top, and it was opening and closing, and all these little white round thingys were coming out. There was what looked to be mucus also attached to these white things. Was my tuxedo spawning? Is tis how they do it? Thanks.

Perhpas those were eggs he's releasing?? I have never seem mine do that, I have seem him spawn (I think) twice, he basically get some where high in the tank and start spewing out long string of white smoke looking thing, which I thought were sperm. Perhaps we can put ours together and they'll make little urchin babies?
