Reefkeeping magazine's Tank of the Month this month has a tank that keeps the PH between 8.15 - 8.16. http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2007-08/totm/index.php Now that's some stable PH!!!
Personally I swing between 7.9-8.2 throughout the week. I top off with a light kalk solution, but reefkeeping's TOTM this month got me thinking that I can do a better job with my PH using 2 separate topoffs. if the PH is below X then I top off with Kalk solution, if the PH is above X, then I top off with normal RO/DI water.
Am i just late to the boat or does anyone else do this?
