adding live sand to established tank

i just bought 20lbs caribsea live reef sand. How do i go about adding it to my esstablished reef?

Add directly to tank if your new live sand came sealed.

If your tank is established all the sand you already have is "live"

should i add it all at once or a little at a time. there is a warning on the bag that says it should be mixed in with existing sand with fingers and for added saftey add over the course of a few days

i know my sand is live but i needed more so i figured i would need something that was alreday curred so i just want to make sure it is safe to just put in

heres some ideas to avoid sand storm.
sand in a bag seal with salt water is not really live.
