So i set-up my lights yesterday and it seems that the unit came with a lot of wiring..i mean a LOT of it....this may be a dumb question..but just want to be on the safe side....can I splice them and solder like any electrical unit...or are they that long for any other reason than conveinence?

They are that long for convenience only. It's just a standard cord right? If so it can be cut and spliced just like any other connection. Make sure you use either wire caps or insulated barrell splices and make sure it is safe.

Thanks Pedro.... cool....i should have extra of those caps from my days of installing car radios and stealing them.....i mean borrowing....

Its a regular retro fit kit...the blue, red and yellow wires are extremely long...:arg:
