hanna phosphate meter

i have a question on hana's phosphate meter. Do you have to convert the results to get total phosphate or is the reading you get the resulting measurement? Also at what point do you guys change your phos media?

As I understand it the reading I get is my phosphate level. I try and change it on a regular schedule of every 3 or 4 weeks or sooner if my number starts to rise.

ok.......i was asking because i switched out the media 10 days ago, tested and results were 0, tested again last night and results were .01 so just wondering at what point do you change the media again.

I change the media when the water exiting the phosphate reactor has the same reading as the water entering the phosphate reactor.
