Vermetid Snails

I think I have vermatid in my tank. Are they bad. Just seems that they are in a bunch of Anthelia and it appears that it is all dying. The web stuff that they secret got on them and they just are all withered and they are bright white. They have been like that for a while now. There are a few stalks that are still alive Could the Vermatids have killed them. Cause i am seeing the little spout things popping up all over. And i just did a major algae cleaning and now i can really see where they are cause the algae in the water is sticking to the web....

Any help would be great!

I had one too..cut it off the rock or whatever it is...its very annoying and can stress coral...it probably did kill ur anthelia..dont worry though antheila will grow back...or u can do my favorite thing that i like to do to annoying things in tank....put some crazy glue in the tube opening he cant come out and spread that web
