How quiet is a sequence tarpon?

Hi,

Anyone know how quiet a sequence tarpon is? Say compared to a dart or a velocity pump or panworld. Its going in my bedroom so noise is a slight issue.

the velocity is by far the quietest of those mentioned i have had the tarpon,and a couple of different panworlds, the velocity is the only one i would consider for a bedroom

Thanks mike, can you give a little more detail on the tarpon. Could you hear over your light fans? How did you have it plumbed? Its for a beckett skimmer so I don't think the velocity will work.

i actually tested it for sequence when it was just coming out if i remember the outlet is 1" and the inlet is 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" they give you a adapter they also gave me some thick rubber spacers to put under the base of the motor if i was going to put it in my bedroom i would def. have some flex tubing in between the hard piping to reduce any vibration(spa flex) and some padding under the base of the motor. this was used as a basement pump at the time it was replacing iwaki 70 so it was not in a living area the pump itself is very quiet but there is a cooling fan on the motor itself so there is some sound,hope that helps mike (i had a long thread on r/c when i reviewed it for them i will see if i could find it)
