urgent please help !!!!
please help !!!!!!!!!!!!! i have a 90 gallon will a mixture of brains, zoas , mushrooms , frogspawns, torches , hammer , a bubble , a plate , blastos , acros and a clam .... everything was perfect in my tank until i topped of water like i normaly do ,i use a RO unit and nothing seemed to be different thana usual the second i toped of water all the acros turned white and died and the brains began to slim and all the rest of the coral closed shut ,including the clam

please help on what you might think happened and what can i do to get my coral to bounce back ????

Did someone else use the container that you used to pour the water in the tank? Like mop the floor or something?

Please post your water parameters, which are essential to understanding your issue. Also include lighting setup and filtration setup.

Temp:
Amm:
Nitrate:
Phosphate:
Calcium:
Alkalinity:
Magnesium:
pH:

Also, are you getting 0 TDS on the RO/DI water?

If it's some thing you added by mistake use carbon to try and filter it out. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Was deffinitly not just water.

Since it was obviously the new water/bucket you used, use a container you know to be clean and do a larger water change and run as much carbon as you can as well.

Agreed, bleach or something else was in that water.

That stinks! Sorry for you losses.. but i'd have to agree with everyone - it was probably something from the bucket...
