Pro clear aquatic systems skimmers?

Any one have any experience with these skimmers? I recently bought a new corner tank and it included a pro clear aquatic skimmer. I guy who sold it to me swears by them but it seems kinda weak.

Get a flow meter and measure how much air is being injected into the skimmer. This will give you an idea of how effective the skimmer actually is rather than dealing with an opinion or reputation of a company. People tend to hype up their equipment as being the best for some reason.

Great objective advice. I assumed I would just get a reaction like "junk".

The thing is all it has is a rio 800 on it and very primitive design. Just merelt a feed pump with an air line, and a return, Thats it.

I have a cpl other skimmers: Aqua c remora, Berlin hang-on but they both need to be hung on and I dont have any hang on room
