What is that small one on the bottom that is blue? It's on a plug and I WANT IT!

it's a blue sponge, one of the first things i got for my tank. surprisingly it has kept its color, and more surprising that it's still alive.

i don't know how fast it's supposed to grow. the only growth i've seen so far is an increase in its siphons and i've had it for almost 5 months now. and no...it's not for sale.
