How's PayPal work?

Recieved a payment on through PayPal and me and the mother are confused as to where to money goes. It says that the payment was recieved and the status is completed. Now does the money just stay on the Paypal account or does it get deposited into the CC/Bank account being used for the Paypal account?

kris ,,you can tranfer the money to your account ,..or leave in paypals account.. if you buy with paypal ,it will deduct it from the balance,,,

no need to feel silly ,,it happens ,when the simplest problem is in front you ,,youre most likely to pass the solution ,,till it hit you in the head ,and you say ,,that was easy ,why didnt i see it ,,lol..ive done it plenty of times...lol

haha i have been using paypal for a while now, and still don't know how to send it to my account but i do have a debit card through paypal that deducts it from paypal balance
