I hear ya man, I am looking for a 600 or a 6100 myself and might pull the trigger tonight - there is a member who gets discounts on them, but I haven't heard anything from him, so, as usual,I am disappointed.
All the research I have done over the past 3 months has most people charging the same price for them, so, If you find any leads, let me know

The cheapest tu get any Tunze products are www.ebay.de (German ebay)The only problem there is the voltage of the equipment. It just depends what from tunze you are looking for.

Buy one soon....prices are being adjusted very soon due to the cost of the Euro in comparison...Roger at Tunze USA is great....and you definitely want a warantee for a $300 pump...sometimes, cheap is....cheap.

Not sure about transferring warantees....why not an over the back closed loop...might be cheaper without drilling the tank.
Tunze does make great products...have yet to be disappointed by any of their products....can't wait to get my Wavebox together...

Delv, im looking to buy new personally, but that's a good question. I wonder.
BTW would you suggest the 6060 or the 6080? I'm not upgrading anytime soon and its a mixed reef, so keep that in mind..
Just don't want it to be like those seio's 620....u think its alot until you put your hand in front of it...

Rio (Seio if you want to be charitable) are junk...
Go with the biggest you can buy...you can usually turn it down or minimize its effects...
Wavebox should be sweet.

Don't go throwing that seio in the garbage now Andres...it can always be put to good use in a softy tank.

Haven't built the box or gotten the controller yet....it works on resonance...sorta additive/cumulative effects....builds a wave...

There is another member of the board that can get you Tunzes cheaper than list. I think you just need to post and ask him to contact you.
Both Rich and I got some stuff from him, he have a awesome reef tank packed with SPS.

those can not be controlled and you may want to be able to control them in the future.
I just picked up a single contoller with photo cell and am looking for a 6000 or 6100 for my tank. I may just buy from Tony and only because he is doing free shipping. otherwise, they are al the same price everywhere. Exception is that PA has an older version (6010) kit for $295.00 - I was thinking about ordering this myself.
You could get away with either the ones you stated, but if you ever upgrade, they'll be selling on ebay

Kris, the above link kinda shows how the wavebox works. The principle is basically taking water in and spitting it back out.
