Are you a MR addict?

If you find yourself checking the site frequently for new messages, or are eagerly awaiting the latest "For Sale" thread, here is something you might like.

The MR widget allows you to keep an eye on all the latest posts on MR without having to keep your browser open. It is a desktop "widget" which can be placed anywhere on your screen.

So, if you don't have Konfabulator already, download and install:
http://www.konfabulator.com/download

Once you complete the installation, download the attached widget file (below) and open it up. You may have to play around with it to get it where you want it on your screen.

A screen shot of what it looks like on the desktop is also attached.

Oh man!!! I do use Konfabulator. I do love it. Its off the hook great tool. But this MR widget is going to kill me man. Many a people will have lighter wallets after this. Good job on the widget. Will install when I get home.

I gave in. Its installed. The only question I have is how frequently the widget refreshes as it seems to be behind. Is there anyway to set the refresh rates on this? Talk about giving a hand and taking your arm - SORRY

Yes Josh. The program does work, because I have all these cool widgets now!

You double clicked on it?

Right click on the Konfabulator icon in your taskbar and you should see (under "Check for Updates") the active widgets. If the MR one is in there and you don't see it on your desktop, minimize everything so you are only looking at your desktop and then reopen Konfabulator.

Right now, it is set to refresh every fifteen minutes. I am adding the ability to change the rate on your own.

You can set the refresh in widget preferences - I set mine to one minute, that's the lowest it goes - but not for MR's widget

I feel really retarded right now. The thing does refresh right now but its behind by an hour or so. I cant seem to find the preferences either cause it takes me to the Kompose screen and the MR widget does not have that choice
