Hey Derm,
Im the guy you talked to while on line at MMness about your setup woes. I'm wore out right now but tmrw I'll try to post pics and quick explanation about anything and everything I can, also I'll link u a thread where they give step by step pics on using photobucket for your pics............damn search engine is busy...guess that'll be tmrw too.
No need to pay anyone for help, most of us are here to help, like my a buddy of mine says, Quality friendship at rock bottom prices!
hey whats up guys. i live over by the racetrack. i have a knopc calcium reactor with american marine pinpoint ph controller. i finallly hooked it up after mmadness according to the instructions but not sure on what exactly to set the setpoints at and also the co2 tank. its hooked up gravity fed from my tank with an air line i have the effluent line in a overflow cup in the sump with the ph probe and 60 bubbles a minute in the bubble counter. i had it hooked up for about 2 hours but the ph was staying at around 7.4 7.5 so i shut it down i dont want to screw anything up. and also i have the co2 solenoid hooked up to outlet 1 on the controller and the circulating pump from the reactor hooked up to outlet 2 . this is what it said to do but im not sure if its right
Germ, sounds like it is right , also, can you drip the effluent into the area where your skimmer will be? If so, you may be able to blow off the excess C02 that way.
Seems like you have quite a few locals to help you out.
