I was thinking ,i saw a thread from Jim(House) put up ,,,i dont think this is hard at all to do ,,,is anyone interested in taking a sunday ,well pick a day ,to make some calcium reactors ,
i could found out how much the water filter he used cost ,the rest is peanuts ,(ofcourse everyone pays for themsleves ) im thinking about 80 for the package
just the chambers,,,may be fun ,and we could save some money in the long run ,this is the diy calcium reactor ,

cool but you cant watch ,ill have to teach you to use you hands ill make you into a plumber in no time ,then youll have no prob doing some wicked piping work on your new 5000 gal tank ,lol

the chamber is too small, the PH will be really low unless you have some crazy recirculation and alot more chambers. it adds up, my dual chamber ca will cost just as much in material and works better heh.

HAHAHAHA, that sounds awesome, I went to Home Depot and looked lost looking at all the PVC piping which I am going to use on my new tank! Thinking of just using vinyl piping for everything, lol.
