so about a week and a half ago i set up a 15 gallon frag tank. i took all my zoos and rics out of my 90 gallon and put them in the frag tank.....(they are still safe) i get up this morning to meet someone off here for a new skimmer i get home and my tank has air bubbes coming up from the sump i turn the lights on and at least half my corals are either dissappeared or melting away, and now my tank is still cloudy even without the air bubbles .....my tank was always well maintaned and the parameters were always pretty close to being on point....im guessing the dying corals are whats making everything so cloudy.....besides the bubbles because i dont think thatr would kill my corals over night.....i did get about 30 lbs of LR from an established tank and added it to my tank thinking it would be ok but i guess not ....what to do ? i dunno , i guess im just gonna keep doing water changes every few days , i wish i could save some of the corals who dont look like there fallin apart but i have no more room in my frag tank

Yes, that will likely be the die off. 30 LBS on Live Rock on a 15 gallon tank all at once can cause your parameters to be out wack until it goes back to equilibrium.

Hope your corals make it okay.

Do a full test(copper too, eliminate the worst possibility quick!),run carbon, water changes, take out what can't be saved, make sure your skimmer is working it's best. Maybe run it super wet and keep topping off with RO water thats measured to have your tanks sg and pH levels so that it picks up alot quick and won't make your pH and sg levels go crazy.
