Actinic lights

I love the look of my 50g reef with just the Actinic lights on. I have a Coralife 192W (2 96w bulbs) power compact fixture. I have one actinic buld and one 50/50 bulb. Is would there be a problem with my fish or corals if I only used actinic bulbs? Are there any other bulb combinations I could use to get a nice blue color?

I don't believe PC bulbs are available in 20k yet.

Newsalt: The combo you have in there now is as blue as you can get short of 2 actinic bulbs. Without knowing what corals you have, I'm inclined to say 2 actinic bulbs will not support their growth very well.

Yup. I think you've only got 1 "white" tube in your current lighting...so I'm guessing your tank is already pretty blue. I think "Catalina" makes 20K PC's but then again they arent the best brand out there...probably not even good...i got some of their bulbs off of eBay a while back and the color was yellow...even with the actinics...
