Oceanic Chiller success!

About a month ago I finally invested in a chiller for my 55gallon reef tank. I purchased a 1/6HP Oceanic Chiller from thatfishplace. Setup went aok. It looks good, is quiet and runs like a champ. I slowly worked the temp down from 90 to 77 degrees. TankMates all said Ahhhhhhhhh. ;-) Chiller is really a must have for a Manhattan apartment reef tank. Time to start stocking up on some corals.

I did not know they made a 1/6th.You could of gotten a 1/10th hp for that size tank.

I looked over the 1/10 size but read a tip somewhere that you should get one size larger so that the chiller doesn't run so often.. maybe true, maybe not. I chose the 1/6 .. done.

yeah, now it reads 79. My thermometer reads 77. Not sure which is more accurate, no worries.
