Those displays are not accurate IMO.I use my pinpoint thermometer.So chilly last night and this morning,had to close the windows and they're giving heat.
I have the Pacific coast one and it's reads a degree cooler than the pinpoint.I have to go with the Pinpoint.I suppose different brands run cooler or warmer.
I also have a Pac Coast chiller. My basement contrary to the norm is hotter than the rest of the house so I keep my chiller hooked up longer. No extra power consumption when not working (except for the display). My chillers temp display matches my tanks thermometer & I agree: the temp display looks cool.
