building my own canopy...what do you think

right now i have pc 4x65 on legs on my 55 gallon. i want to add mh without giving up the pc. i did all my measurements and i was going to add 2 175w hqi pendants in there. they come w/ moon lights and fans. the canopy was going to have an open back to help with air flow. how does it sound???

why not just get the two 175's and put the PC's away. would be more than enough to light your tank and you won't need actinics with some of the bulbs out there.

a 250 would be enough to light the whole tank with the spread although the sides would be little low for alot of the SPS.

Dunno what your keeping either.
