Hi every one. I am new to the reef hobby. My tank has been up and runnig for six months now. I have noticed that my live rock is disintergrating is this normal? If not what do I do to stop it? Thanks

I've heard/seen bits and pieces falling off, but actually disentigrating? Never heard of that. But I may be wrong. What kind of rock is it? What is your alk and ca readings?

ca is about 400 and alk is 2.8 ,3.0

The only way I can think it could actually break down is if the PH is acidic... like below 7
Otherwise, its probably algae or something falling off the rock.
