question on baffels

im going to be picking up a carbon reactor in the next couple of weeks so i wont need my carbon area in sump.is there any use for that space or should i just remove baffels for more space for equip.i have a small sump 10 gal so that extra space would be useful.if i take them out i will have no baffels at all

No need for baffles for something that small.
