i found this in my filter sock today, looks like a nudibranch, my corals are fine what the hell is it?

it's slimy, it;s ugly and it has two heads, i dunno maybe i created it, yeah john all the rock is mine expect for two that was in my old system, but i didnt see anything like that in my old tank or anything, what do you think guys should i throw this guy back in? LOL. rich i hope it's not a giant flatworm, i be in trouble dont flatworms multiply like in 1000s?

It could be a Coeloplana. I had a few of them in my tank a few years ago. They look a lot like flatworms, but are supposedly safe. They send out these two long tenticles that look like threads, and eat stuff out of the water column. I saw the threads long before I figured out that I had the coeloplanas.
I'll see if I can find a picture of mine. They weren't that big, maybe an inch long, and had a crazy red and white pattern.

I'm pretty sure it a Pericelis sp. Turbellarian worm (see Fossa and Nielsen vol.3 pg.79). I've seen a few before, usually when tearing down a tank. They are very cryptic and can crawl into very tiny crevices. As far as I know they are harmless, and if you put it into your main system you are likely to never see it again. Very cool find.

this worm is freakyish, i like it, looks really cool, well if it wants to do something bad to my tank, it should have done it by now, also if it was to reproduce quickly it should have done so as well, maybe i should toss him back in...
