Cyano in fuge

I have a CPR HOB fuge on my tank. Anyone ever get cyano forming on their chaeto? Is that normal/bad/good/indifferent?

ive had cyano form on my chaeto in my fuge. i just brush it off. i dont think its good because it may suffocate the chaeto? not sure about that but i personally dont like cyano in my fuge so i keep the fuge light on only at night to prevent the cyano from forming too fast.

its bad as stated above.
this is usually due to 2 factors:
slow flow & high organics

I thought fuges were supposed to have a slower flow?

And its the only place that the cyano is growing. None in the DT or on the
rockwork in the fuge. Rather strange.

shake out the cheato i think it probably has a lot of detrius in it.

i get it in mine also but i thought it was good. It is feeding off something, and maybe keeping it out of my tank.
