So i'm finally going to setup my 2.5 gallon tank in my cube here. What inhabitents should I put in it?

and what equipment should I get? I have a koralia nano for it already.

How much sand and rock should I get/ put in?

Wow a Koralia nano for a pico tank....

Check out www.nano-reef.com

If I were you I'd buy one of those red sea nano skimmers they work great and have activated carbon in there and provide another layer of filtration. In terms of inhabitants...

I would put softies in there. Zooanthids and polyps. Maybe a pulsing Xenia.
Can't do much with fish... maybel like 1 neon goby... or if you push it an extremely small false perc. Definitely go with like a sexy shrimp and porcelain crab, these two look awesome.

Sand... well depends on how deep you want it. In a 2.5 tank I would put like 3 or 4 handfuls. Rocks... I'd say like 3-4 lbs.

This was mine with the pioneer 5MM LED in the old days.
2.5G SW Pico with LED

Some inhabitants that thrived in there including the snails(note the egg and the babies)

I'm in the same boat. I want a work pico. Is there any tricks to making a pico easy?
i.e. taking water from my home tank

I bet I could hide a 10G sump under my desk. I just have to dress it up as a filing cabinet. LOL!
