Tunze ATO makes squealing noise

The pump on my Tunze auto top off is making a high pitched noise every time it pumps water. Anyone else have this happen and know how to fix it?

It's probably clogged.Q-Tip the bottom and try again.It's happened to mine a few times.

Those pumps are not the quietest pumps anyway.

did that solve it? Once mine started making the high pitched whine I had to replace the pump. They are only $20 or so though...

No, it is still making noise. Good to know that I can replace the pump without replacing everything.

Check to see if there is some air trapped in the pump. Try to invert the pump underwater.

If you have to replace it you should contact tunze, they have replaced items for me no questions asked.
