cap bleaching....

how can you tell if your cap is dead.. I have a green cap and it's bleaching..my

CA 480
ALK 2.06 ( i know it's on the low side)
PH 8.2

temp 82 to 83 (summer temp)

on my other corals yes..

on my cap i never really see polpys but it grow like crazy.......

Got to get your alk up - they are alk sponges and you need to keep on top of it all the time.

That's why it's bleaching - I just went through that and fixed it by adjusting my alk levels and adding some Lugols Iodine Solution.
