need to borrow fish trap

If anyone in northern jersey could lend me a fish trap it would be greatly appreciated. Trying to catch a hippo. Tried the soda bottle trap to no avail. Please pm if you can help. Might try building one out of acrylic. Hippo will be up for sale but that's another thread.

You should try the soda bottle again. Be patient. I used the bottle trick last week. I sat in front of the tank with my fishing line in hand for an hour. I caught a Christmas Wrasse, and an annoying Diamond Goby that was burying all of my corals. Good luck.

Thanks. Patience is key. Trying to catch the hippo as quickly as possible since it is harrassing the new "blotchy" anthia I recently added.

Many fish are goofy enough to 'follow' one of those laser pointers
..not familiar with the flashlight, maybe the same idea?

Been trying to catch a Fridmani Pseudochromis without any success. Tried soda bottle, fish traps, hooks, etc. Going to give a laser pointer a try. :thanks:
