anybody know about this monitor and how it compares with the pinpoint? its the same price but has an alarm.

i use pinpoint and very happy..not sure about this one
i know pinpoint has a good reputation on the market)

i t6hink with the normal ph swings in a tank that alarm will only drive you nuts\

i have it and am using it.
the alarm can be set at any level you want (which would obviously be out of "swing" range). I have mine set to ring at 7.99 as my pH is kept around 8.2 with swings from 8.1 - 8.3 so if it goes below 8 i know something is off.
