im having a fish and a coral and some inverts delivered by overnite. and i was wondering if they send out today it will arrive thursday but i wone be able to open the box until like 7 oclock ish. cause thats wen the jewishh holidaay(yom kippur) is over.
will t be bad to have them all sitting in the box untill im able to open em.
i could allways change the shipping date. but then i won get emm for a while. so let me know wat you think

They should be ok, I get things delivery all the time and open them up after I come home from work, 6pm or so, and they're usally fine. But I would probably change the date so you can open the box right away as some times the bags break and the weather getting alittle colder now.

bc if its 2 hot or 2 cold, they will die in the box. Normally when livestock is shipped to you, its bagged and filled w/ O2 which gives them like 2 days. So ur fine.

so then if there shipped with a heater then it wont be to cool. so then its a no go

Dont worry too much about it... it should be fine... ask them hoW they pack their livestock. usually they are really heLpful with information like that

No the temperature will be fine, when it's too hot they ship it with an ice pack and when it cold they ship it with heat packs. They try and keep the temp in the 74-80 range and depending on the weather they use either ice or heat pack or some times nothing at all.

If they're ship all the time just tell them what the temp is, over nite, and they'll determine if the box needs heat packs.
