I keep my sg at 1.024-1.025 and the temp at 79 but it's been going to 81 recently, need to add another fan. On my Fish tanks I try and keep the temp in the 76-78 range and the sg 1.020-1.024.

got mine at 79 ,to 81 ,,,sometime 82 ,,but no higher ,,tank seems to be doing great ,,,
just a question ,ive been in an out of the carribbean,,and just wondering ,its never below 90 or higher .,even when it rains it is hot ,,lol and water also never seems to be lower than 79 ,,,
why is our tank at 79 and some lower for reefs ,,,isnt the water hotter where thse corlas come from /

i tend to keep my temp at 79-80 although lately its been between 81-82 cause of the mh lights i just installed.
sg is usually between 1.023-1.024

i keep my tank betwwen 80-82 never had a problem..

77 is what is supossed to be the best temp for a reef tank no higher then 82 i keep minfrom 77-78 and salinity should be between 1.023-1.025 i keep mine at 1.024
