i finally took the plunge and treated my tank with interceptor. i did my 25% water change this morning and everything is still looking great. i haven't seen any red bugs on any of my corals so far. i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

will do another treatment in 1 week.

That good to hear. I would read up as much as possible and find out how many times you need to treat before there all gone, including any eggs. I'm sure if you don't get every single one they can come back before you even know it.

The general concensus over on reef central is 3x, 7 days apart or they will re-emerge.

Nilo, how much interceptor did you use for your treatment? What is your estimated volume of water?

i estimated my total water volume at around 50 gallons (the recommended dose was 25 mg/10 gal). so i roughly used about 125-150 mg of the 1000 mg tablet. i plan on doing 3 treatments x1 week apart. 8 hours post treatment, i still don't see any bugs. hopefully it stays that way.
