My lumenarc reflectors I ordered from Reef Exotics are in, I should be picking them up thurs or fri.
everything I've read about them is positive.
the one thing that drives me nuts is the light spillage from my hood.
I get a lot of reflection on my ceiling above my tank.

I used lumenarcs on my last tank. Hated the light spillage until I went to a hardware store and discovered aluminum siding that they sell in rools in various width. On this RC Link This guy is in the process of making a 180g. Really clean and overall a pleasing setup with neat ideas allaround. On the sixth page you can see that the lip of the canopy is above the lip of the lumenarcs. Mine was similar but I had a sheet of aluminum on the top of the canopy. Just make sure you cut the aluminum siding just slightly smaller than the bottom of the reflectors and the light spillage will me minimized. Also anoither advantage is that the aluminum siding dissipates the heat off of the reflectors.
