Hello,
This is Charles Stein a Board Member of the Brooklyn Aquarium Society. I am also a member of the Long Island Reef Association.
If you have been following our NYS Governor Patterson he has decided to elimate some forthcoming funds that support our Zoo's,Aquariums, etc; around the state. Brooklyn Aquarium Society has had our regular meetings for a number of years at the NY Aquarium in Brooklyn. With the Governor's plans this could eliminate holding our meetings at the Aquarium so we are looking into finding another location in Brooklyn.
Now I know Manhattan Reefs Forums are held semi-annually both in Manhattan and Brooklyn and I would like to contact possibly someone at
Pratt University concerning possible renting of space in the Student Union
Hall.
Any assistance in how I might go about this would be appreciated.
Thank You,
Charles Stein
